Here are our standard, fixed rates for uncontested divorce
in Georgia.
Our rates are competitive (or even below
average), providing you with first-rate
assistance at a low cost. We do NOT charge extra for
postage, copies, filing fees, paralegal fees, etc.
for your uncontested case.
The rates below
do not include the
filing fee.
Please be sure that you understand the
differences between a contested and an
uncontested divorce.
If your divorce is contested, we may still
be able to represent you, but the fees given on this
website do NOT apply to contested cases.
We
offer preparation of ALL necessary documents for
an uncontested divorce, filing your case and
processing it through through the Court
from beginning to end
as necessary
for the following flat rate (currently available in
Cherokee,
Cobb,
Douglas, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett,
and Paulding County).
Please inquire for other counties in North
Georgia and Middle Georgia:

PLEASE CALL FOR QUOTE |
To
begin your case, just submit your
new client
information form
on line or
give us a call at (770) 794-3220.
We provide an initial
telephone consultation with a qualified
divorce attorney (10 - 15 minutes) at
no charge.
For an in-depth telephone or in-person
consultation, we charge $195 (flat fee) for
the consultation only. However, if you receive an initial
consultation and then decide to hire us
to represent you, we will apply the $195
consultation fee to the cost of your
case if you employ us for your divorce
within thirty days of the
consultation so that there is no extra
cost to you for the consultation. The
first step to begin your case is to give
us a call to schedule your initial
conference (most of the time if no minor
children are involved, this is only a
telephone conference). If you are sure that you are
ready to proceed with an uncontested
divorce when you come in for your
consultation, you simply pay our low
flat rates indicated above in full and
there is no consultation fee.
Consult and Advise
(Coaching) -
This service is primarily for clients
who need help in understanding and
reviewing a settlement agreement that
their spouse or spouse's attorney has
prepared. Additionally, this may
be appropriate for clients who are just
beginning to explore the possibility of
a divorce -- either uncontested or
contested. We charge $195.00 at a flat rate for
a consultation and then
$250.00 per hour for each additional hour
after the initial consultation. This service may be
helpful if you do not
know whether you should contest some portion of your divorce or if you just need advice as to whether you should accept an
offer to settle that your spouse has suggested.
All
major credit cards accepted.
Payment of the above fees and costs must be made
in full before we begin preparation of
any documents for your case.
We offer a 10% discount off of our fee to all clients who are
full time law enforcement officers or firefighters.
*NOTES:
-
These fees and costs
do not include the
filing fee for your
case or the cost of the
parenting seminar (only required if
you have minor children).
The
parenting seminar costs
$30 for each person in most counties and
both parents MUST attend.
Because of the variation in local
rules and procedures, our fees vary
from county-to-county if minor
children are involved.
-
The
fees quoted
do not include preparation of
qualified Domestic Relations Orders
(QDROs) or any deeds and may not include division of a business. If your case involves division of a business,
please call for a quote.
-
Your spouse
will not be served
by the Sheriff in your uncontested case.
The law provides that your spouse
may be notified of the
divorce by publication
if you can no longer contact
him/her. Our fees do not include the cost of the
publication of the
divorce notice. The publication fee is
usually approximately $80.
-
Upon
request, a name change
for our client
(or spouse)
to restore a maiden/pre-marital name
will be included in any uncontested
divorce
at no additional charge.
-
Our services are
not available for
cases in DeKalb County or Rockdale
County.

time to time. Last updated -
